Hi everyone! I’m Tiger. So much as happened since I arrived at Against All Oddz!  Vanessa has brought her army, and many of you have mentioned how handsome I am. Thank you for the compliments!!! I love them, but I love Nylabones and Hugs even more. Anyway, I wanted to tell you all my story. It is a pretty sad one, and my Against All OddzMommy and Daddy have cried about it. Lots of people have.

Anyway, I am a three year old Presa Canario. I had a Daddy that loved me in Orange County, California. One day, I was outside with him and talking with a neighbor and her kids. One of the children got her shirt stuck in a leaf blower. She screamed. I guess the Mom went to help her and pull her shirt out, but at the time, I thought she was hurting her because the child screamed even louder! So I went to help the little girl and I hurt the Mom a little bit. Not badly, just a couple stitches… I really thought the child was in danger! 

So then they seized me. They ordered me to die unless my Dad and his neighbor could find me a sanctuary. And they did!!! Against All Oddz!!! But here’s the worst part. The Orange County, California Animal Control director, Andi Bernard and Sargent Espino, kept me in a 3 x 4 foot crate for 71 days. I’m like 6 feet long!!!! My ligaments became crippled and deformed. I already had hip dysplasia and even dwarfism… but being confined like that exacerbated my conditions and probably took years off of my life. When I got to AAO, I couldn’t walk at all. My new Daddy cried a lot and he was furious. He tried to get those people locked up, but no-one cared. My new daddy said a lot of cops just care about writing tickets to get money for the government… they don’t care about helping innocent dogs like me. He tells me lots of things when we walk in the woods. I tell him that I have a crush on Vanessa… we have a lot in common and we lay near each other a lot. While my Daddy gets upset a lot about the way the world is, I don’t. I just like hugging and licking people, and taking sun naps with people. It’s nice here… everyone who comes here loves me, and I love all of them! I’m pretty much a big big baby. 

Anyway, I am moving a ton better now and can run. But my new parents say they are going to make me move better than I even did before Orange County crippled me! I am starting water therapy next week and hoping you guys can maybe help me out a little with the bills?? I’ve been to the vet a lot since I’ve been here… they also fed me ropes in Orange County so I had to get emergency surgery since I was here too. I’ve been through a lot. Ugh! But anyway… things are definitely looking up for me, #AGAINSTALLODDZ.
